About the cover: Pathologic examination shows central cup-shaped invagination of the epidermis consisting of keratin plug admixed with parakeratotic basophilic cellular debris. The inflammatory infiltration of granulocytes is observed in the dermis. Orcein staining for elastic fibers was negative.
